If there was one book we all read in the summer of 2014 it was We Were Liars, a teen-mystery novel about the seemingly-perfect Sinclair family on their private island in Martha's Vineyard. And now, more than a decade later the E. Lockhart novel is making it's way to the silver screen.
The eight-episode series follows a similar plot to the novel and sees the lead character Cadence Sinclair Eastman try to remember what happened to her the previous summer.
